When new makes sense

Reasons buyers choose a new tote.

CASE 01No prior contents.Some applications or customers require a container that has never held anything. Only a new tote meets that.

CASE 02High-purity contents.Where trace contamination matters, a new bottle removes the question of what a used one held.

CASE 03Matching containers.If you want a set of identical totes of the same age and specification, starting new is the simplest way to get them.

Outside those cases, a reconditioned tote often does the same job, and reusing a tote avoids manufacturing a new one. Tell partner suppliers what’s going inside and they can suggest options.

Can I request new and reconditioned totes together?

Yes. List both in your quote request, with the size, grade and quantity for each.

Are new totes more reliable than reconditioned ones?

A new tote has fresh gaskets and valves and no prior contents. A properly reconditioned tote is cleaned, inspected and leak-tested before resale. Which suits you depends on your contents and requirements.

Can I get new stainless totes?

Some partner suppliers may be able to quote them. Stainless is usually more expensive than HDPE; describe your needs in the request.

Why not buy direct from a manufacturer?
